Dr. Ma trained with national leaders in the field of medical dermatology, and has an interest in managing complicated rashes like blistering rashes, autoimmune disorders, and pigmentary abnormalities, among others. As a Chief Resident, she spent her last year of residency at the Dallas VA Hospital taking care of veterans and those with chronic sun damage. This is where her admiration for this population grew. She has since devoted her time practicing skin cancer prevention and treatment in the smaller communities. She feels privileged taking care of the whole family over the years and seeing familiar faces again and again.
In her spare time, Dr. Ma enjoys spending time with her husband, who is an Emergency Medicine physician, and their chocolate lab.
